This is a template for Christmas themed 8”x2” labels that is editable in Canva.
 
If you operate a cake shed, a pop-up shop, attend markets, fayres, etc, and sell prepacked for direct sale products (PPDS) within the UK, you are required to comply with Natasha’s Law regarding the labelling of your baked goods. PPDS are items that cannot be altered without opening the packaging for example: cake trays/tins, cake slices, brownie slices, cake pots, cake cups, cake sandwiches, cookies, marshmallows, breads, and more.
 
A simple list of ingredients such as: Eggs, Milk, Flour, Chocolate does NOT meet current Food Safety legislation. You are required to provide a FULL list of ingredients, highlighting ALLERGENS (by using bold, CAPITALS, BOTH, or coloured font). So, every ingredient you use must have their component parts listed also and be in descending order (Highest weight of ingredient to lowest weight of ingredient).
 
This template is completely editable so you can:
Add/Edit all the text (font, size, placement etc.)
Add your logo, images, graphics
Add a QR code linking to your website, social media pages, etc
Add/Edit the background
Edit colours (except for the icon pics)
Add/Remove any element
Download as a JPEG and PNG, or a PDF format (NOT Word)
Add new, or duplicate pages and create a background and different designs
Resize, or resize and copy a page or all the pages
Edit, save and download without any limit
No expiration date

All you need to do is:
· Purchase the template
· Download the PDF file and click on the templates link at page 1. The link on page 2 sends you to the Food Standards Agency website which details everything on the labelling requirements within the UK
· Create a free Canva account, it is very fast and easy. This also works with a paid account
· Edit your template as you wish. I have created a few for you to get you started, if you choose to use them
· Download it as a PDF, JPEG or PNG file and print, or use it digitally
 
Things to note:
· You will not receive a physical item, this is a digital product only
· This is an online editable template that you will access, edit, and download at Canva.com
· You can edit the template from your desktop, laptop, and tablet. You can also edit from mobile devices, but I would recommend only make basic changes
· Print quality and colours may vary due to screen settings and resolution. If printing the labels yourself use good quality sticker paper, or use a professional printing service
· A reminder, this is a Canva template, that you purchase, download, edit, and use
